FIRM APPLICANTS
Requirements to Apply:
An Engineering corporation or partnership must have an active Certificate of Authorization in order to practice or offer to practice engineering in Delaware.
To receive a certificate, firms are required to:
Our examining committee reviews applications the last Wednesday of each month (meeting dates vary in November and December). The committee reviews applications, and makes recommendations to our Council, which meets the 2nd Wednesday of the following month. Your firm is not eligible to offer or provide engineering services in Delaware until you have an active Certificate of Authorization.
Refer to Sections 2821 & 2825 of the Delaware Professional Engineers’ Act for more information.
Licensees and applicants will not be able to access their DAPE accounts during this transition, and we cannot accept new applications at this time.
Please contact office@dape.org if you have a question about the status of your application or need to make any changes to the status of your license or contact information.
We expect the new system to be fully functional by January 5, and appreciate your patience as we work to improve our website.
